Waco, How We've Missed You!

The three of us went to Waco last weekend to see some friends. We had a wonderful time catching up, and hanging out. We were treated like family all weekend, and it felt like we had never left. We had the opportunity to see our friends from Sunday School, visit with teachers from the school I taught at last year, and stop by some of the fire stations Brad worked at. It was so good to see everyone, and introduce our little girl to all of our friends...I'm sure she already recognized the voices of most of them. :) We got to meet three new babies that had been born since we left. Britni and I went through most of our pregnancies together, but I moved two weeks before she had Hunter, so getting to meet him and introducing Addison to him was a real treat! They became great friends while we were there. :)

Addison and Hunter meeting for the first time - both acting a little shy.

Addison being very curious about Hunter, and Hunter being glad he knew how to crawl! ;)

Again, Addison wanting to know what Hunter was doing.

Hunter crawling over to give Addison a kiss on her forehead before she went to bed.

"Thank you Hunter for sharing your toys!"

What a blessing friends like these are! It was such an amazing trip and we already miss all of you! I'm definitely looking forward to the next time we get to all be together! Thank you Meltons, and Mitchells for a wonderful weekend. We love you guys!!

Oh the Places She Will Roll...

While Addison is still working on mastering the art of crawling, she has begun to use rolling as her main form of transportation. Here are just a few of the places I have found her...

Halfway underneath the coffee table.

Stuck in her floor gym.

And heading under the couch.
Some of her other favorite places have become under our entertainment center (NEVER would have guessed this was big enough for her to fit under), and under her crib. I am definitely having to keep a closer eye on my little roller these days.

Here Comes Peter Cottontail...

Checking out her little Easter bunny.
All ready for church on Easter Sunday. This is the best picture I could get. Brad was at work, and we were trying to make it to the 8 o'clock service...this was just going to have to do. :)
Thanks for the Easter dress, Grammy!
Visiting Brad at the Fire Station after church. Two late nights in a row equal not very many smiles on Easter!
But her daddy did his best to get a smile out of her!
Gorgeous day!
At my mom's and dad's for Easter lunch.

Aunt Jen helping Addison open her Easter gift from Nana.

Thanks for the bunny, Nana! And for playing with me, Aunt Jen!
I think this is the first picture of the three of us!
With my mom (Nana) and Addison.

HAPPY EASTER!

Another Month

Seven Months Old!

I just think this one is funny. That face...haha.

Growing up!

In Addison's seventh month she began to:
  • babble a lot and has learned many new sounds.
  • continue to surprise me at how well she does in the nursery.
  • hold her arms straight out to the sides when she wants to be picked up.
  • drink from a sippy cup.
  • eat puffs and teething biscuits - and LOVES them!
  • sit up really well.
  • become more coordinated in leaning over to get a toy and then sitting upright again.
  • hate peas. :/
  • smile a lot
  • let other people hold her without fussing. (HUGE success!)
  • love being tickled.
  • put her hand in front of her mouth when she thinks she is about to laugh.
  • eat every four hours instead of three(another huge success!)
  • weight: 13lb. 14oz; length: 26.75"
