But, I still want to post about it! :) I have been very lacking in my blog posting...but I'll be honest, month five was hard and so I had very little motivation to write about it, and month six has been so much fun I have found it hard to pull myself away. (And if there is ever a lack in pictures, you can bet that I have found yet another "safe" place to store my camera cord and have forgotten where that place is.) :)
Look at me, I'm five months old...and I couldn't be happier... :)

Here is what Addison was up to in month five (unfortunately, I am sure I have forgotten some of it, but know that she will forgive me):
- grabbing everything in sight, and holding her toys
- blowing raspberries...all the time...to the point where she could hardly cry because her cry would turn into a raspberry, which made Brad and I laugh, which she didn't like very much
- saying the /b/ and the /mu/ sound
- sucking on her lower lip - I'm afraid I may have taught her this...I do this when I concentrate on something and I'm thinking she might be imitating me?? hopefully it is just a phase...I'm working on it too :)
- sitting up with support
- still not rolling from back to front...it's ok, we have a month before we go to the doctor for her checkup ;)
- weighs 13 lbs. 3 oz
- has officially retired all of her 3 month clothes
- loves playing with her feet and taking off her socks to suck on
- likes to play in her exersaucer and sit in her bumbo with her green frog
- started rice cereal, and she loves it! she opens her mouth for every bite and will dive for it if you are not quick enough. her face was priceless the first time she tried it, a little disgusted with the texture, but wanting more...I'll try to upload the video sometime soon.
Yes, month five was a little difficult, a lot of holiday fun led to a messed up schedule which meant a lot of not sleeping through the night and no naps which led to a tired and fussy baby (and mommy). But, here we are recooperated and doing great. And it just goes to show how unconditional a mother's love is. On to month six... :)
